The Certified Athletic Therapist provides a unique service, structuring specific therapeutic programs and treatment plans to ensure the complete and appropriate recovery of individuals consulting their services. This differs from those presently offered on a more aggressive and integrated approach to the injury. Particular emphasis is placed on therapeutic reconditioning (i.e. active exercise programs) that have been proven particularly effective in the rehabilitation of workers requiring physical fitness to carry out their employment (e.g. police officers, fire fighters, physical educators or any manual laborers, to name but a few).
